Sara Matthews

My name is Sara Mathews, I’m originally from southern Ohio, I escaped the snow and grey skies for sunny Florida and and I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2005. After college I worked as a general manager for a clothing company for several years. After getting married and having our first child, my husbands job, in commercial construction, transferred us here to Central Texas. I made the decision to stay at home with our daughter while working remotely as an assistant to a Realtor. I was nervous about making a huge cross country move but I quickly fell in love with the area, and met some really amazing people. We lived in the Temple/Belton area for a while and now call Salado home.
Over the years I have found Texans to be the friendliest, nicest people I’ve ever met and I’m proud to be one. As the saying goes “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could”

I’m excited to be working as a Realtor after several years of being a stay at home mom. I understand why finding the right home and community is so important, wether it be across country, across state or just across town.
