A Lifelong Passion for Real Estate
My passion for real estate began when I was a first-time home buyer at the age of 20. The process of buying my first home was made so simple because of my realtor. As I enlisted in the Army in 2008, I remember looking online and viewing hundreds of homes for my first move from Michigan to Colorado. Since then, I have moved to three different states and lived in eight different homes. It wasn’t until recently that I took the initiative to make real estate a career. Vista Real Estate sponsored me as a transitioning Soldier through Hiring Our Hero’s corporate fellowship program at Fort Hood. As a veteran owned business, it was a pleasure working for a company that has a true appreciation for Soldiers, their families and this community, and now I'm a licensed real estate agent working right here at their office in Temple, TX.
Career Path: From Military to Real Estate
I joined the Army in October of 2008 and in July of 2010 I was on an airplane to Afghanistan. Serving in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Needless to say, that was a life changing experience. I left that deployment with a greater appreciation for life and my family. I continued my service at Fort Campbell, KY where I was in charge of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). I was able to go back to school and graduate from Baker College with my Bachelor’s in General Studies in 2014. I moved to Fort Hood, TX in January of 2015, and have been here in Central Texas and have lived from Kempner to Killeen and now Temple.
What does this have to do with real estate, you might be wondering? For one thing, it says something about me, as a person. I served my country, pursued healthcare and a college education and now it is time to serve the you and the families of this community.
Other Pursuits and Passions
When I'm not helping my clients, I enjoy hiking, fishing and hunting. My true passions in life are my wife Chelsy and our four boys. I cherish the nights on the couch watching movies as a family, an afternoon of basketball and baseball, and a very competitive game night of Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch. I thoroughly enjoy my friends and family and am looking to build even more relationships with you as a new client and friend.
