Hey there, my name is Vanessa and I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2016. Just a little bit about me, I am married to Douglas M. Pleban of Chesapeake, Virginia. We met while both on active duty in the U.S. Army and our 10th wedding anniversary this July. We have 4 furbaby daughters, Lacy is a 13 year old dachshund, Lexi is a 9 year old Boston Terrier, LuLu is a 7 year old Boston Terrier Mix, and Dory is a 2 year old Pitbull/Lab Mix. I have been in the Central Texas Area since 2005 and We are both avid animal lovers. I have two younger siblings; my sister Alicia is currently serving in the U.S Air Force and is stationed at AFB Langley. My bother Carl is an Air Force veteran and is currently going to school to become and massage therapist and study alternative medicines. I am also an Aunt to 3 beautiful nephews that reside in Chesapeake with my husband’s sister.
Professional:
I graduated high school in May of 2004.
I went to 3 semesters at Vincennes University to try and obtain my Law Enforcement Degree.
I was a police cadet from 2004-2005 at the Vincennes University Police Department.
I joined the Army August 2005 and went to basic training in December 2005 as a Military Police Officer and graduated Basic and AIT Training May 2006.
Upon arrival at Fort Hood 2 weeks later I was deployed to Kalsu, Iraq 4 weeks after that.
I deployed one more time from 2008-2009 to Tailil, Iraq and Fob Gary Owen.
I stayed at Fort hood until the end of my contract with the army which was September 2010.
After my exit from the military I attended Central Texas College and Texas A&M University to study Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensics. I received my degree May of 2015.
While going to school I bartended at several local bars and starting May of 2015 I was a REALTOR® assistant until May 2017.
While I was an assistant, I obtained my own Real Estate License and was also a buyer’s agent.
I am a Real Estate Agent / REALTOR®, I specialize in new construction and also listing and selling single family homes.
